Otherwise: $2.00 for children, seniors, and students from other schools. General admission (everyone else) is $3.00. 2. Do you accept credit cards, debit cards, traveller's checks, or other non-cash payments? No. We don't even have a cash register. 3. When are you open? We are located on the Portland State University Campus in Portland, Oregon, USA. Our address is 510 SW Hall Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues). If you know the area, we're on the north facing side of the same block that the Ondine housing building is on. Here's a map. 5. Can I bring outside food and drinks into the cinema? Of course! We're not THE MAN (Regal, Loews, etc.). This privilege is accompanied by the requirement that you clean up after yourself. 6. How is the 5th Avenue Cinema related to PSU? The 5th Avenue Cinema is the PSU campus movie theater- we're owned by PSU, funded by student fees, and run by PSU students. 7. What format are your films shown in? All of our main features are actual 35mm film prints. Many of our special events are DVDs shown with digital LCD projectors. 8. How can I get involved? Send us an email at film@pdx.edu and we'll give you an update about the film club we're in the process of forming. We're also recruiting volunteers for Visuals, our bi-annual film fest that happens every fall and spring term. 9. How can I show my film at the 5th Ave? Please see our Special Events section. 10. How come you don't have more new releases? Are you kidding? More than half the movies we're showing this quarter were made in the last twenty years! 11. Why don't you guys have nachos and corndogs? Because we don't care to brew nacho cheese. See question 5.
